My son and I have spent several afternoons playing hide and seek with the Pieps DSP Sport. (granted, in the dry foothills of Colorado). The range is over 30m for detecting a signal. The ease and accuracy of finding the hidden beacon is remarkable. I´m a big fan.

Spent the day yesterday in the Utah Wasatch range after 3 feet of fresh snowfall, trying out the pieps sport and probes. Just purchased 2 from Trekkinn and am so pleased with he pricepoint and service. The sluggish delivery rate is well worth the customer service and quality equipment!

As a result of considering the own beacon purchase for opportunity has increased to go to BC, I chose this. Function of the beacon itself is not perfect. You might have some people that the function of 3way's excess by way of thinking, the beacon of the buddy is whether analog or digital, which slipped on BC together, I think the probability that survive are searched on whether 2way or 3way vary greatly you. Rather than because of the time that I became a victim of the avalanche, also in order to enhance the confidence of from Buddy, I think that it is better to chose a high-performance thing, even somewhat expensive.

Avalanches applicant works well - pleased. Remember to add VAT when you consider prices from this page to other prices. I got me a small toll fee bang, and the price was not as good as first thought. Could be better notification on this within the page.
