Pros: generous dimensions (thickness 9 cm!) That guarantee comfort; ease of lacing and deflation. Cons: not a featherweight for more days trekking. All in all a great mattress at a good price (-40%).

Hello, Sandra besides for the thermal value, avoid putting it on the ground alone add a survival blanket, namely for inflation I use FLEXTAILGEAR - Portable Air pump used - 0 + 7 for the thermal values. use in gr5, gr70, gr20, gr Haute savoie, beaufortain, tour of Mont Blanc. Very comfortable, Optimized weight and volume, use only in winter with Grabber Outdoors All Weather Blanket survival blanket

I had a 2 inch self inflating matress, but the older i get the less comfortable it seemed. This, is much better at 3.5 inches, well designed, and the extra width very welcome. The built in pump is a good feature, it means not getting out of breath inflating it after a hard day's walking, and also more hygenic, preventing the build up of fungus and bacteria caused by the moisture in the breath. Its R value (insulation) is lower than my last mat so more likely to feel the cold from underneath on colder nights, I will try some foil insulation under it, this should cure that problem. Good quality and value.
