Same as the VTA 88 Lite with specially shaped tips, a special wood core, and 3D.Ridge construction, but with only 80 mm waist width the ski only weighs an amazing 1010 g @ 170 cm and delivers maximum climbing capability for lighter alpine touring skiers. But it‘s still designed by Völkl - we focused not just the weight, but the weight per surface area, designing a ski that offers the best skiing experience with the most climbing efficiency. Like all VTA models, it features the added advantage of the ICE.OFF topsheet, designed to keep snow and ice from adhering to the topsheet to keep the lightest possible setup.

Ice.Off Topsheet:
- Topsheet technology to reduce the weight of the ski when skiing and hiking. Will reduce the snow attachment to the ski at an average of 20% to 30%. The next step in effective weight reduction. ICE.OFF stands for the latest topsheet technology on our touring skis. The unique surface structure and material composition reduces icing as the snow simply slides off the topsheet. This leads to a drastic reduction of weight in use, on average up to 20% to 30%. In addition, mainly white graphics support the anti-icing effect. Lighter skis prevent fatigue, especially on long and steep uphill sections.

VTA Superlite Outline:

3D.Ridge Carbon:
- Central Woodcore Ridge with superslim wings to significantly reduce weight and swing weight and keep the stability where necessary. Combined with Full Carbon Jacket for Stability.

Base P-Tex 4500:
- A sintered, ultra-high molecular polyethylene base with an extremely high density. Besides a great wear resistance and perfect wax absorption the P-Tex 4504 is extremely fast and exclusively used on our top of the line and race models. The material has been upgraded with special additives to make it thermal and electro-conductive and proves its qualities with premium glide and maximum speed in races.
