To run outdoor activities have the benefits that Etrex 30x brings. This tracker is portable and small. The Garmin version has a high resolution screen with 400 x 320 pixels with 2´2 ´´dimensions.
If you want to store routes or milestones, you have 3.7 GB of internal memory capacity. To expand the space, you need to install an SD memory; however, it has some pre-recorded tracks stored, places that you can use to check the efficiency of the equipment. Inside, it is equipped with a barometric altimeter and a 3-axis compass. Through its sensors, you will track the frequency of heart beats, speed and cadence of the bicycle, temperature, among others.
Its correct operation depends on the installation of two AA batteries for 25 hours. With this model, you will have connectivity with the following satellite systems: GPS / GLONASS / WAAS / EGNOS. The weight of the device is approximately 50 grams and its dimensions are 5.4 x 10.3 x 3.3 cm.

Very pleased to pick up this little etrex 30x for such a great price. It has a basic European map installed, but with the addition of a a free downloaded osm or talky toaster map, and a micro sd card if you really need more storage, it becomes a very good little tool, for hiking, footpath routes or geocaching. Delivery was within a week, postal tracking was supplied, and the item was band new, boxed and perfect.

Good morning, I can't review the product because it was ordered on 02.09.19 and started shipping on 09.05.19, today 09/15/19 it still appears to be around Italy, to be precise in Bologna and to arrive in Savona but no word yet when. I asked for clarifications in this regard and was told that having chosen delivery with Italian post, this is the timing, specific however that is in the hands of the SDA courier and therefore not directly to the post office. Having said that, it will be more competitive as product prices but "if my package arrives", I doubt whether I will buy again on this site. The wait for delivery is too long despite this being paid and not free. For the product, we'll see if and when I can get it.

First of all, the purchase and delivery took place without any problem. The GPS was well protected in a box and arrived in perfect condition, and at a significantly lower price even than Amazon. The installation went very well. I already use a Garmin GPS in the car, so it was recognized immediately by Garmin Express, who proposed an update of the map. So here, watch out. The internal memory is not large enough to receive the complete card. You need a microSD card (8GB is enough). Once the card is installed on the SD card, the internal memory is fully available for traces, etc. GPS quickly detects satellites and therefore its position. I turned on the GPS while commuting to work, and was able to easily see the route.

Great little unit & arrived quickly. Highly recommend getting a microSD card and proper maps (from e.g. Talkytoaster). Also (Garmin issue) takes some effort to be able to download routes onto the device (GPX files via Garmin sw Basecamp), but well worth it. Minor issue - if carrying in a pocket be prepared for random activation of buttons.

Fast delivery at a great price. Etrex 30X is improved compared to the Etrex 30; does not fall out with high-voltage pipes, among other things. Am a satisfied user of the Etrex for years, the only downside I think is the bike holder that does not sufficiently secure the device. Because of this I lost my device !!

I had been using my phone to generate track information but it was unreliable and so I was looking for a better solution. Years ago I'd owned a Magellan GPS unit that was portable but quite large. The eTrex 30x is a much neater device and appears to generate fairly accurate track information. As noted in at least one other review, you need a microSD card to download the latest Topo maps from Garmin. The included basemap is reasonably detailed but doesn't have the topo information. Specifications say 32GB is the largest card supported. I had a 64GB card available so tried it and it was not recognised by the Garmin software even though my computer could see the card when the 30x was attached to my computer. I have a 32GB card on order so hope this will work. TrekkInn had the best price I could find and the device reached me from Spain in just a few days. I would order from TrekkInn again.

Quite a nice unit as expected. Seems accurate and the maps are very usable. I was disappointed to have to buy a microSD card in addition to the unit in order to actually download the maps. Strange that Garmin consider that to be acceptable. I would have been more disappointed if Trekkin were not able to sell at such a good price.
