La Sportiva Boulder X is a super light, versatile, comfortable shoe ideal for trail running or via ferrata for everyone who is alpinists to the core. The suede leather upper mesh is abrasion resistant, breathable and offers technical functionality in the mountain environment.
The sole design has ultra sticky Vibram which enables the shoe to penetrate into the ground and creates a good friction against the wet rocks while you are trail running. Also, the Impact Brake System at the rear provides protection against the rugged exterior of the terrains and during mountain descents. Thanks to the EVA inserts that has optimum shock absorbing properties, while the rubber rand is anti-abrasion keeping you protected at all cost.

We tweaked the designs of proven technology from years past to produce the Boulder X. Additional padding underfoot for long approaches and uber sticky rubber add deluxe comfort and performance.
The Vibram Idro-Grip compound stays sticky on every type of rock even when wet. The all leather uppers and sticky rubber toe rands offer durable protection. Ideal protection and performance built for the rigors and abuse of the mountains.

Great marching shoes with very good durability. Withstands a little beating in tough terrain. Is a leather shoe and must be maintained accordingly. Good on the foot and fair weight. Broad and steady. Good to climb on decent routes.

Fantastically rugged shoe. Most hiking shoes are just too wide. Very comfortable although they could use a bit more arch support. Highly recommend them if you have a narrow foot.
