Very light due to their aluminum construction, LEOPARD FL crampons are designed for snow approaches. The CORD-TEC flexible linking system minimizes bulk for ease of carrying. The FLEX LOCK binding system is very well suited for use with hiking and approach shoes, without heel or toe welts.

just returned from two weeks in the Spanish Pyrenees, including several days of hiking on snow-covered and icy surfaces. I am extremely satisfied with the IRVIS hybrid crampons. After a number of experiments on how best and most securely to mount them under the shoe, I decided to use the alternative mounting method. especially when it comes to steep sections of hiking and climbing. I doubted for a long time about the fact that the connection consists of strings, but I am extremely satisfied with the purchase. Tip: adjust at home, so as not to have to adapt in the field, immediately choose the rope on one side a hook further.

I have made the route to Aneto through the Portillones and they have behaved perfectly under Salomon x alp carbon 2 gtx shoes, descent from summit to hill running, very good fixation if they are put on properly, obviously with flexible shoes and to limit their use, but they are for what they are, I have put them up to about 50 ° and no problem used the technique I used.

Very light, they are crampons of "fortune", that is, made for very specific occasions (take something just in case in easy terrain). They should put the standard antizuecos and not have to buy them separately.

Under a hiking shoe the link is I have doubts about the use on slopes. Under a ski boot it is better but it moves a little anyway sideways, you don't need to hit hard to plant the crampons on the slopes.
