Was looking for a shoe that was suitable between boarding and crampons for coarse rubble but also longer walking in the flat. I tested several manufacturers again (Meindl, Lowa, Salomon) and ended up at Salewa again for my slim foot. The lacing, which runs far forward, offers additional comfort through adjustment.

Excellent hiking/trekking boot! Excellent build...lightweight with a thinner sole that does provide excellent traction on rocks. Excellent ankle support design....have enjoyed these in rocky terrain. The style lacing that Salewa uses conforms to your foot better than other boots. This is not a 3 sole from Zamberlan/Crispi....rather it is a more flexible sole that is easier on the foot. The service from Spain was my only question about purchasing....everything went perfect. Excellent Boot!

Boot of very good quality especially for the thin feet at the neck and the heel and wider on the front. Very comfortable sole in rock see climbing in small block or simple cliff. I have a first pair that I wear everyday for more than a year, I just ordered a second when they are not yet worn.

The boots were slow to ship due to customs issues in Brazil, but when they arrived, I was surprised by their quality and beauty. They have already been properly tested on the climb of three peaks. Very good! They are soft, no dust gets in the feet, the sole has a great grip. On the hills with a lot of dust and gravel, I did not skid at any time. I could not test for impermeability, because currently in Brazil we are in the dry season, it does not rain.

It is a somewhat soft boot but to walk kilometers it is perfect, it fits very well to the foot and the sole both dry and wet does not slip or get wet. In snow I have also tried and protected and isolates perfectly. In normal shoes I use a 39-40 and buy the 41. The only downside I can say is that I notice some instability in the heel part of the sole, but otherwise I recommend it !!

These boots are really lightweight/comfortable and both great for hiking and scrambling. Haven't tested under rain or heavy cold. I bought a half size bigger as many reviews suggest, and it fit quite well. As a person with D feet, I don't find their fit tight.
