The Rigged GT shoes is another great company boot for longer trips, and one that uses the excellent Asics FluidRide technology for a natural and balanced movement. GEL technology provides cushioning. Waterproofed with GORE TEX.
Molded EVA midsole provides good cushioning and comfort. In addition, these mountaineering boots are built in top quality organic leather from a tannery audited by Leather Working Group.

they are very comfortable and a close fit. i'm usually 6.5 or 39-40 but had to go for 7 minimum with these. they are a pretty standard ladies' last. as i have wide feet at the toe, narrow at the heel, i went up to a size 7.5 to be able to wear these with thick winter outer socks but i've kept the size 7 that fits with thinner socks for summer wear as i liked them so much. ankle issues mean i need really good ankle support but i find a lot of mid cut boots are cut or laced lower than i need for optimal support. (i don't want mountain midsoles or outsoles on a lowland trek.) these lace high enough (a cm or two above my other mid cut hiking footwear) and are cut slightly higher at the front for a little extra support. ~ if you want to wear these with additional insoles and thick socks i'd go up at least 1.5 sizes. i'll see if i can update ,this once i've had a chance to get them dirty.

Bought this shoe for my wife. She was very pleased. The boots look very elegant both in a sporty style and in a stricter one. The size chart matched this model. I wanted to buy myself the same male model.

They had told me about the Haglöfs brand. I was surprised by its comfort and good exterior and interior finishes. A great boot for temperatures below zero. Without hesitation I recommend it 100x100
