This is wonderful mushroom knife. Blade has a nice curve which makes it comfortable to trim mushroom stalks. Bristles are great, stiff enough to clean dirt from stalks and caps without damaging them. A very simple, reliable and aesthetic looking knife. As you can tell, I’m very happy with it.

I've been using the Opinel No8 mushroom knife for many years but lost mine this spring. I like this knife so bought a replacement. It is excellent as mushroom knives go. Light, and small to carry, fits in a pocket comfortably. It's perfect for trimming and cleaning mushrooms in the field or at home.

Good afternoon, I saw the Opinel Mushroom Knife N°08 Box on your website. Two photos appear of a sheath for the knife, but they cannot be opened. And in the product description it does not appear as a complement to the knife. My question is if the sheath goes with the knife and is included in the price or if it is a separate accessory. Thank you so much

I bought the Opinel mushroom knife this past summer and used it a lot in August and September. I’m very happy with it. But, to answer your question, it does not come with the sheath you describe. I had to make a sheath myself after I got the knife.
