A fast and light backpack that adapts to your adventures The Montane Trailblazer 18L Backpack is mapped to your body to stay stable when moving at pace, and is made with recycled materials. The COVALENT harness and shoulder straps and 100% recycled RAPTOR CROSS LITE 70D fabric provide lightweight durability, comfort and performance. This backpack has more than twice the carrying capacity of the Trailblazer 8L, but only weighs 75g more, and can carry everything you need to be self-sufficient for fast and light one-day missions in the mountains. Easy-to-access and adaptable storage includes wrap-around pockets, the modular Montane T-Hook system, and a stretch mesh front pocket, for fuel, drinks and spare layers. Vertical and horizontal compression straps secure the load, while the T-Hook system can be configured to carry walking poles in the mode that best suits your activity, whether you’re running your favourite trail, or fast packing off the beaten track.

- Hidden security pocket with key clip underneath mesh front pocket
- Bonded front panel and modular T-hook system - can be used to attach poles (front of pack or side carry), bungee system, extra compression strap - customise to suit your needs
- Hydration bladder compatible

Very light backpack that thanks to the numerous adjustments remains well adherent to the body and does not move during the run. Fairly large main pocket and smaller but easily accessible secondary pocket, very useful for storing objects that you want to have at hand but which must remain protected, such as keys, topographic maps, pocket knife etc. Side pockets excellent for storing bars or dried fruit, comfortable and spacious; shoulder strap pockets perfect for water bottles, flasks or even your phone. Great backpack for day trips.

The belt next to the belt is very large and easy to use. The main storage was smaller than I expected. 18L may not be. Overall, it's easy to use, but if it's under 160cm tall it may not fit.

I would like to know if there are different sizes for this backpack or is it one size and only adjustable with the laces? Thank you

I´ve had it for several years...one size fits most, very adjustable with the straps. There is another model for women with 2 L less volume and with an adapted front system.
